Commercial Talent Intelligence

Internal data explains yesterday. External intelligence predicts tomorrow.

Understand your commercial leadership organization’s position in the external talent market. Confidential market conversations bring an independent view of leadership exposure to the decisions ahead.

The external perspective

What is the market telling you about your commercial team?

A growth plan depends on the people who will execute it. Your internal team brings knowledge of the business. Commercial Talent Intelligence adds evidence from outside the organization, helping you understand how the market sees your leadership team and where further investigation may be needed.

TRG conducts confidential conversations with executives, former executives, customers, partners, competitors, and industry participants. The assessment connects that external perspective with observed contact and receptivity measures, stating what the evidence supports and where its limits lie.

What we examine

Observable evidence. Clear limits.

Effort to reach

Attempts by channel to the first substantive response reveal what it took to establish contact. Reachability alone does not establish recruitability or an intention to leave.

Response and channel

Response latency and the channel that produced first contact provide a view of observed market access. Findings state the measurement basis.

Coverage and confidence

Contact yield and organizational coverage show how much of the relevant organization the research reached, informing the confidence attached to the assessment.

Observed receptivity

Hypothetical questions explore openness to leaving, considering the client company within a basket of companies, and considering a competitor. Answers are reported in permitted aggregates, never as named predictions of departure.

The right lens for the decision

Market outside the room. Management inside it.

Commercial Talent Intelligence examines the external market and leadership exposure. Leadership Due Diligence is a separate offering that evaluates the management team through direct interviews.

For boards, chief executives, and investors, the starting point is the decision you need to make. TRG scopes the appropriate offering around that decision.

Confidential by design

Evidence your team can use responsibly

Diligence interviews are market research, with no opportunity offered or implied. Receptivity is explored hypothetically without identifying the client. Any real-opportunity recruitment approach remains separate from diligence responses and follows the applicable off-limits obligations.

Findings protect source identities and report receptivity only in permitted aggregates. The assessment does not produce a list of employees predicted to leave.

Every finding carries its context.

Reports state the observed inputs, coverage, and limitations. A first measurement is presented without an unsupported peer comparison. Research methods are not presented as available scores before they have been run and benchmarked.
